Paint will not stick to a dirty wall

Exterior paint fails early far more often from contamination than from bad product. Chalking, dust, mildew and salt film all sit between the old surface and the new coating and stop it bonding.

Every exterior we paint gets washed first. We also take on washing as a standalone job, which is usually what people want before listing a house or ahead of a party.

Correct pressureConcrete takes pressure. Stucco, siding and painted timber do not. Pressure is set for the surface.

Questions about exterior painting

Will it damage my stucco?

Not at the right pressure. Stucco and painted surfaces are washed at far lower pressure than concrete, which is where most damage comes from.

Can you remove oil stains?

Most of them substantially. Old deep oil in porous concrete rarely comes out completely and we will tell you that up front.

Do you wash before every paint job?

Yes, always. It is included, not an extra line.

How long before you can paint?

Typically a full day of dry weather, longer for dense stucco or after heavy saturation.

Will it hurt my plants?

We wet down and cover landscaping first. Plants handle clean water fine once they are not taking direct pressure.
