If the boxes are sound and the layout works, replacing a kitchen is mostly paying to throw away good carpentry. Refinishing gets you the colour and the finish for a fraction of it.

Wall product on a cabinet stays soft, marks with a fingernail and blocks against the frame. Cabinets need a hard cure coating.

Questions about exterior painting

How long does a kitchen take?

Most kitchens run four to seven days including cure time. You keep use of the kitchen for most of it.

Can you paint laminate or thermofoil?

Laminate yes, with the right bonding primer. Thermofoil that is already peeling has to be assessed in person.

Will it chip?

Not with correct prep and a cabinet grade coating. Chipping is almost always a prep failure, usually skipped degreasing.

Can you change the colour completely?

Yes. Dark wood to white is the most common request and it is very doable, it just takes an extra coat.

Do you replace doors too?

We refinish. If a door is beyond saving we can source a replacement to match before finishing.
